ZEN Holdings was honoured to be a finalist at the recent Nedbank Oliver Top Empowerment Awards 2026. For 25 years, these prestigious awards have recognised organisations that demonstrate leadership in economic transformation, empowerment, and inclusive growth.
During the evening, I had the opportunity to speak with Diana Kgaje, Director of ZEN Holdings, whose passion for the business and gratitude towards those who have supported its journey were immediately evident.
She paid special tribute to South 32 whom she acknowledged for the important role in development and growth.
“We are deeply grateful to our esteemed client South32, who trusted us by giving us a 3-year contract. They further renewed the contract for another 5 years. We are looking forward to another 5-year contract. Their trust in our capabilities and the opportunities they have provided, have helped us grow as a business,” she said.
Listening to Diana speak, it became clear that the nomination is not simply a celebration of business success. It is a celebration of collaboration. It is proof that meaningful partnerships can create pathways for emerging businesses to thrive, compete, and make a lasting contribution to the country’s economy.
While ZEN Holdings did not take home the award, being recognised among South Africa’s leading empowered businesses is an achievement and a testament to the company’s growth, resilience, and commitment to excellence.
