WILL IRAN SAVE THE U.S. MARKETS?

Iran and Oman are nearing a “deal” to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, but have been negotiating without the United States, although that hasn’t stopped President Trump from trying to take credit for the possible outcome.

According to Reuters, this agreement—”between Iran and Oman”—would give control of ships’ passage inbound to the Strait, to Iran, the outbound passage to Oman in cooperation with Iran; and would require that the United States end its blockade of Iranian ports and not disrupt the agreement by bombing Iran, or allowing Israel to do so.

Meanwhile President Trump, so lacking is his competence in conducting this war on Iran, and for his office in general, has been loudly taking credit for this negotiation while not thus far having any part in it!

If he agrees to give control of the Strait and 20% of world oil traffic to resilient Iran, he can take a billionaire’s pleasure in the stock market’s—temporary—rally. It’s now being described as a “violent upward surge” by some financial media he reads, and it will help him, he thinks, to get enough Republicans elected so as not to be impeached by next year for his incompetence.

On the other hand, he could rise up yet again off his table like Frankenstein’s Monster, attack the agreement and Iran’s leaders, and attack Iran again—with nonexistent precision missiles he’s apparently already used up in his previous attacks.

It should be noted that the shortfall of conventional armaments is what is leading to irresponsible and highly dangerous musings about the use of “tactical” nuclear weapons.

That’s not to speak of the wasteland that remains of Gaza and southern Lebanon due to the Trump administration’s backing of the murderous Bibi Netanyahu of Israel; nor his aimless amnesia about his agreement in Alaska with President Putin, on ending the war in Ukraine.

That means it’s important that on Aug. 5, former Marine intelligence officer and former UN weapons inspector Scott Ritter, on a broadcast, for the first time asked the question: “If we, the American people, now fire President Trump, who can replace him?” and started with the Independent Presidential candidate Diane Sare, a student of the late Lyndon LaRouche.

Ritter was making the point that by Donald Trump’s “Donny’” standards from his reality TV show, “The Apprentice,” President Trump would have failed in every aspect of his job, and deserve to be “FIRED.”

Ritter’s commentary also brought to mind an early campaign statement written by Sare entitled, “Make Crazy Crazy Again: What a Real American President Would Do,” in which she polemicizes against the acceptance of insanity as “the new normal.” Sare challenges the “delusion” of Americans who “out of desperation” try to defend Trump’s wildly erratic behavior as genius and delivering on his campaign promises of peace and prosperity.

While opening the Strait of Hormuz might unleash some short-lived market euphoria and lots of money for Trump family insiders, only implementation of LaRouche’s Four Laws, bankrupting the Epstein-client billionaires, and directing credit into actual physical economic progress will bring relief to the American people and allow the United States to get off the trajectory of blowing up the world.

Otherwise, the worst is yet to come, as Helga Zepp-LaRouche has been warning in recent days. It is time for the uncivilized, but arrogant, Western elites to pause and attempt to see themselves as the global majority sees them and read the writing on the wall. Their system is doomed, and only cooperation with the rest of the world as equals, subject to the same principles of natural law as expressed in the American Declaration of Independence will ensure that humanity continues to exist on this planet.
