DON’T BE AN ARMCHAIR PESSIMIST: STAND UP AND ORGANIZE

“Global Britain” (which includes a good slice of American politicians, media, and intelligence operatives) is in a full mobilization in every imaginable domain (and some we don’t want to imagine) to sabotage the Alaska meeting between the leaders of the two nuclear superpowers scheduled for this Friday, August 15. Typical is the Wall Street Journal’s take: “Russia Has High Hopes for Trump-Putin Summit. Peace Isn’t One of Them. –Meeting represents victory for Putin, who seeks to end international isolation and separate Russian ties with the U.S. from Ukraine’s fate” The Urinal neglects to inform its readers that the article’s author and their “Chief Foreign Affairs Correspondent” Yaroslav Trofimov is from Ukraine.

President Trump took to Truth Social to lash out in response: “Very unfair media is at work on my meeting with Putin. Constantly quoting fired losers and really dumb people like John Bolton, who just said that, even though the meeting is on American soil, ‘Putin has already won.’”

British-influenced so-called “leftist” commentators like Brian Berletic speculate that the meeting could even be a set-up for the assassination of President Putin. Some of these types are taking to social media to warn that Putin shouldn’t attend.

What they are missing is that there is already an entirely new dynamic on the globe, to which the American President, who wants desperately to succeed, has been forced to respond. That dynamic is, in substantial part, the result of the decades-long efforts of American statesman Lyndon LaRouche, and his wife, Schiller Institute founder Helga Zepp-LaRouche, and their associates around the world. That is the dynamic shaped by the BRICS-Plus nations which have no intention of returning to a colonial model, and now, acting in concert, are discovering that they need not accommodate foolhardy demands from the global minority.

We have powerful flanks to defeat Global Britain:

First, is the revival of the Bering Strait Tunnel initiative, promoted over decades by former American Presidental candidate Lyndon LaRouche, and placed on the table again by Helga Zepp-LaRouche who has written an open letter to Presidents Putin and Trump (cc to President Xi). The letter is accompanied by 20 pages of documentation on the project.

Make no mistake, launching the Bering Strait connection would have an even greater impact on world history than the construction of the Erie Canal, the TVA, or the Three Gorges Dam. This project would bring Eurasia and America together directly, and open up vast regions for economic development. It would force the issue of the lack of modern rail transport in North America, and allow NAWAPA (North American Water and Power Alliance) to reemerge as an idea for water and power management and job creation, whose time has finally come.

A second part of this initiative is Zepp-LaRouche’s appeal to Chinese President Xi Jinping to invite President Trump to the September 3 Beijing Parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II in the Pacific. As President Putin will also be there, this would be the perfect setting for these three leaders to meet, and rededicate themselves to the unfulfilled promise of “Never Again!”

We must protect this process of normalizing relations with Russia from the British imperial neocon warmongers who would prefer to unleash nuclear war. Happily, many of them are named in the documents recently declassified by DNI Tulsi Gabbard. We must demand that criminal investigations, indictments and prison sentences follow.

On Wednesday, a team of LaRouche activists deployed to the Congress armed with the Schiller Institute packet on the Bering Strait initiative, which provoked great interest in a number of offices and The LaRouche Organization’s White Paper, “Worse than Treason, the Actual Motive Behind Russiagate,”, which identifies the hoaxsters who would seek to stop it.

If Presidents Trump and Putin are able to make progress on not only ending the bloody Ukraine-Russia proxy war, but toward reestablishing productive diplomatic relations, including exciting economic joint endeavors like the Bering Strait Tunnel, perhaps mankind can move to a future where the wars and destruction of the last centuries will be seen as a bygone era of a primitive species.

As we organize for the success of this Friday’s summit, we must redouble our campaign to halt the genocide being perpetrated against the Palestinian people by the religious “Kooks” in Israel and their fellow travellers, including the zealots inside the Trump Administration.
