AMB H.E. Mr. Mninwa Johannes Mahlangu

“Your Excellency and Dear Brother,

It is with deep sorrow that I learnt of the untimely demise of H.E. Mr. Mninwa Johannes Mahlangu, High Commissioner of the Republic of South Africa to Kenya, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Federal Republic of Somalia, and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Nairobi (UNON).

On behalf of the Government and the people of the Republic of Kenya, and on my own behalf, I wish to extend to you, and through you to the Government and people of the Republic of South Africa, as well as to the bereaved family, our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies during this time of great loss.

Kenya had the honor of working closely with Ambassador Mahlangu, whose distinguished service and steadfast dedication greatly contributed to strengthening the warm bonds of friendship and cooperation between our two countries. His passing is a profound loss, not only to South Africa but also to the wider diplomatic community in Nairobi and beyond.

May his memory and legacy of public service continue to inspire us all.
