The China–South Africa Youth Federation extends its warm and sincere congratulations to Ms. Letsatsi-Duba on her appointment as the Ambassador of the Republic of South Africa to the People’s Republic of China.

This appointment represents an important moment in the continued strengthening of the long-standing and strategic relationship between South Africa and China. The Federation is confident that Ambassador Letsatsi-Duba’s distinguished record in public service, leadership, and dedication to advancing international cooperation will make a meaningful contribution to deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.

South Africa and China share a historic partnership grounded in mutual respect, solidarity, and cooperation across a wide range of areas, including trade, investment, cultural exchange, and people-to-people relations. Within this framework, the China–South Africa Youth Federation recognises the critical role that diplomacy plays in expanding opportunities for young people, particularly in areas such as education, skills development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and cultural engagement.

As an organisation committed to strengthening cooperation between the youth of South Africa and China, the Federation looks forward to continued collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Beijing and other relevant stakeholders to further promote youth dialogue, exchange programmes, and initiatives that empower the next generation of leaders.
