Events of the past decade have clearly shown that the concept International Law has completely lost its meaning and effect.
The following events show the non-existence of International Law and implementation.
1. Israel’s continued occupation and genocidal actions in Gaza, its occupation of part of Syria, its occupation of part of Lebanon, its unprovoked strikes in Iran, without any punitive actions being taken against the state Israel.
2. The US unprovoked recent strikes in Iran in support of a rouge state of Israel.
3. The total collapse and paralysis of the UN Security Council as a forum to resolve international disputes.

The world is fast moving towards power play where military strength is gradually becoming a determinant. Africa must wake up to these developments.
The US has begun a process of encouraging it’s European Union allies to increase their defence expenditures for a combined future hegemonic intentions. Short of World War 3, hegemonic dominance will prevail.

I became extremely worried when I read that the South African Air Force is now not in a state to adequately defend our air space in case we are attacked by enemies.

At the same time there are some reports emanating from the DRC that our ground forces were defeated by a group of M23 fighters, indicating another area of our defence weaknesses.
For South Africans, it is time to smell the coffee.
