The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour, will host an Employer Seminar for Funeral Parlours, Insurance Providers, and representatives of various banking sectors in Bloemfontein - IMAGE: GSMN

The Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), an entity of the Department of Employment and Labour, will host an Employer Seminar for Funeral Parlours, Insurance Providers, and representatives of various banking sectors in Bloemfontein and surrounding areas within the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality.

The Seminar seeks to strengthen existing partnerships and collaborations between the Department of Employment and Labour, Funeral Undertakers, and Employers as valued stakeholders.

In addition, the session aims to empower, support and assist the stakeholders in improving compliance with labour legislation while also imparting knowledge on key departmental programmes and services.

Topics to be covered during the session include Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) Compliance, UIF Death Benefit, Inspection and Enforcement Services (IES), Public Employment Services (PES) and Labour Activation Programme (LAP).
